AMAS XV - The Fifteenth Biennial Symposium

The aim of the Symposium is to provide a forum where participants can discuss microanalysis and imaging, with emphasis on applications, practical solutions, and recent advancements in techniques.

Themes for special sessions in this symposium include:

* 51st anniversary of the Conference on Soft X-ray Band Spectra and the Electronic Structure of Metals and Materials, held at the University of Strathclyde, 1967;

* Microanalysis in planetary science;

* Advances in transmission electron microscopy and related spectroscopies;

* Cathodoluminescence spectroscopy and imaging.

Workshops will be held prior to the meeting, on Monday the 11th and Tuesday the 12th of February, at Monash University and CSIRO, both in Clayton. Where required, bus transportation will be provided from the Brighton Savoy Hotel to the workshop locations at the start and end of the day.
