Announcement of the EMAS 2024 Regional Workshop in Brno, Czech Republic

		Dear Virginie SERIN, It is my pleasure, on behalf of the International Organising Committee of the EMAS 2024 Regional Workshop, to provide you with the attached announcement of the 14th Regional Workshop organised by EMAS.  It will take place in Brno, Czech Republic, from 12 to 15 May 2024.  This announcement includes an overview of the workshop programme, as well as information regarding the abstract submission procedure, the application for EMAS Bursaries available to students and technicians, workshop registration and payment, hotel accommodation, and much more. Given the EMAS website and its on-line facilities (www.microbeamanalysis.eu), the abstract submission procedure has been thoroughly revised, with a template outlining the contributed poster contribution’s abstract lay-out requirements available for download from the website (on the EMAS 2024 event sub-page).  Please adhere strictly to the mentioned guidelines.   Deadline for on-line submission of abstracts for the poster contributions is March 15th, 2024. A workshop registration page is available on-line, with on-line payment facilities using a PayPal interface, while no credit card information will be stored on the EMAS website.  Various payment options are available (e.g., credit cards) depending on your country.  If you prefer to pay by bank transfer or any other off-line payment method, you can choose the "pay off-line" button and follow the instructions; this will generate an invoice including bank transfer and contact details. EMAS members are asked to login to the EMAS website (using the ‘login’ button at the top right hand side ) using the e-mail address to which this message was sent and the password provided earlier (a ‘forgot login’ button allows you to retrieve the password in case you have missed the e-mail message with the original one).  This will allow the system to retrieve your personal information (address, etc.) as well as to allow you to register at the reduced workshop registration rates available to EMAS members.
